DataDome Releases Edgee Server-Side Integration

As part of our “DataDome Everywhere” vision to protect any infrastructure against bad bots and cyberfraud, we are pleased to announce our new technical partnership with Edgee, a server-side platform designed to improve performance, compliance, and data quality.

Edgee moves critical services like analytics and security out of the browser into the edge network, where they run faster and more reliably. This server-side integration, built with WebAssembly and Rust, enables seamless integration of DataDome and delivers real-time detection and mitigation at the network edge.

How does it work?

Edgee seamlessly integrates with DataDome by dynamically injecting the DataDome JavaScript tag. This allows customers to route their traffic through the edge infrastructure, where DataDome inspects, analyzes, and secures 100% of traffic requests in real time.

As Sacha Morard, co-CEO at Edgee, points out: “DataDome enables our customers to strengthen their security directly at network & application level, without touching their code or infrastructure. That’s exactly what we’re trying to do with Edgee: make advanced technical capabilities easily accessible, thanks to components deployed as close as possible to users.”

All server and client-side signals are collected instantly, providing customers with full protection and visibility out of the box. Alexandre Marlot, Senior Technical Product Manager, indicates that this integration provides fast time-to value by avoiding any complex configuration or software changes. “Edgee provides a great developer experience. We deployed DataDome through Edgee for a first customer and he went live in production in under three weeks.”

1. Connect to Edgee Console and add the new component datadome/datadome to any website you would like to protect 
2. Fill your DataDome Server Side & Client Side keys 
3. Hit ‘Save’, and it’s done! 

All incoming and real-time traffic is automatically protected and visible by DataDome without any additional configuration required.
