For example, while cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Trackers. For this reason, within this document, the term cookies (Cookies) is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.
4. Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require your consent, depending on the applicable law. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.
5. The Websites use Trackers managed directly by DATADOME (so-called “first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by a third-party (so-called “third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified within this document, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them.
6. Cookies remain on your computer by default for no longer than 13 months and you can decide to delete all cookies anytime when going into your browser settings (see below).

In addition to what’s specified in the descriptions within each of the categories below, you may find more precise and updated information regarding retention periods as well as any other relevant information – such as the presence of other Trackers – in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers.

2.Activities strictly necessary for the operation of the Websites (consent not required)

1. This Website uses certain Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or delivery of the DATADOME services. For this reason, we do not require your consent to collect such Trackers. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these Trackers, but some parts of the Website will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

4.How to manage preferences and provide or withdraw consent

1. Cookie banner: When you access the Websites for the first time, you are requested to accept or reject the collection of Cookies about you. 
2. Cookie management platform: Whenever the use of Trackers is based on consent, you can provide or withdraw such consent by setting your preferences accordingly purpose by purpose. 
3. Your choices will be registered for a reasonable period and may be modified by you at any time through our Cookie management platform. Please note that these settings may only be valid for the pages created and owned by DATADOME. When we embody link to external websites and that you click on these links you leave our website and therefore the settings and notice applying to our website no longer applies. 4. It is also possible, via relevant browser or device features, to delete previously stored Trackers, including those used to remember your initial consent. Other Trackers in the browser’s local memory may be cleared by deleting the browsing history.

Notwithstanding the above, you may follow the instructions provided by YourOnlineChoices (EU), the Network Advertising Initiative (US) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), DAAC (Canada), DDAI (Japan) or other similar services. Such initiatives allow you to select your tracking preferences for most of the advertising tools. 

The Digital Advertising Alliance offers an application called AppChoices that helps users to control interest-based advertising on mobile apps.
