Cookies policy
1.Introduction
- A cookie is a small data file (text file) that a website, when accessed by a user, asks the browser to store in order to remember information about the user, such as his/her language preferences or login information. DATADOME sets cookies called internal cookies. We also use third-party cookies, which are cookies from a different domain than the website you are visiting, for our advertising and marketing efforts.
- This policy informs our customers and users (you/your) who visit our Websites (including datadome.co, app.datadome.com and any other Websites that we may publish and manage) and use services available through our online platform (the Websites) about the cookies and other trackers that help the DATADOME group (DATADOME, we/us/our) to achieve the purposes described below.
- For simplicity, all such technologies are defined as “Trackers” within this document – unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Trackers. For this reason, within this document, the term cookies (Cookies) is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.
- Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require your consent, depending on the applicable law. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.
- The Websites use Trackers managed directly by DATADOME (so-called “first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by a third-party (so-called “third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified within this document, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them.
- Cookies remain on your computer by default for no longer than 13 months and you can decide to delete all cookies anytime when going into your browser settings (see below).
In addition to what’s specified in the descriptions within each of the categories below, you may find more precise and updated information regarding retention periods as well as any other relevant information – such as the presence of other Trackers – in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers.
2.Activities strictly necessary for the operation of the Websites (consent not required)
- This Website uses certain Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or delivery of the DATADOME services. For this reason, we do not require your consent to collect such Trackers. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these Trackers, but some parts of the Website will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
- See more information in the table below.
3.Other activities involving the use of Trackers (consent required)
- The Websites may also use Trackers to provide certain features or personalized marketing content to enhance your experience, or to allow us to perform analysis and statistics on the behaviour of users of the Sites. All Trackers used are listed in the table below. Such Trackers require your consent.
