About this webinar

Right now, cybercriminals are getting ready to wreak havoc on e-commerce end-of-year sales. But what exactly will bad bot operators be up to this less-than-ordinary year?

The answer is: we can’t yet know for sure. What we do know is that there will be bot attacks galore, and that what we observe around Black Friday is a good indication of what to expect for the holiday season.

In 2019, for example, we saw the following patterns around both events:

– Intensive web scraping activity throughout the shopping season.
– Major DDoS attacks right before the most important shopping days.
– Peaks of account takeover attempts on days when vigilance may be at its lowest.
– Massive volumes of both good and bad bot traffic that would slow down any website if left unchecked.
