Q2 2026 marked a defining chapter for DataDome. We shipped our most significant product launches to date, earned recognition as a Leader in a landmark analyst report, and continued expanding the platform to give you deeper visibility, smarter detection, and more control over every type of traffic hitting your digital properties.

Here’s everything that shipped this quarter.

DataDome named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Bot and Agent Trust Management Software, Q2 2026

DataDome was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Bot and Agent Trust Management Software, Q2 2026, earning the highest score in the Current Offering category among all evaluated vendors and the highest possible scores in 12 criteria, including AI agent trust management, intent visibility, innovation, and security operations integrations.

The report noted: “DataDome excels in AI agent trust management, transaction assurance and protection, and marketing analytics assurance use cases.”

This recognition reflects over a decade of investment in intent-based detection and our commitment to staying ahead of the most sophisticated threats. View the full report here.

Agent Trust: The AI control plane for managing agentic traffic

As AI agents become a standard part of how businesses and consumers operate online, the question is no longer whether they’ll interact with your digital properties. It’s whether you can tell the good ones from the bad.

Agent Trust is DataDome’s capability to identify, classify, score, and govern agentic AI traffic in real time, built on two pillars: identity verification using cryptographic signals like Web Bot Auth, and continuous intent verification that evaluates agent behavior across the full session journey.

DataDome's agent trust feature

Rather than static allowlists, Agent Trust generates a dynamic, 100-point trust score for every AI agent, updated continuously based on live behavioral signals. That means legitimate AI agents get frictionless access while malicious ones are blocked, automatically and without manual intervention. Learn more about Agent Trust here.

Priority Protect: The waiting room built for the agentic era

Traffic surges—whether from a product drop, a ticket sale, or an unexpected spike—have always attracted bots. But in 2026, AI agents have made the problem more sophisticated and harder to solve with legacy tools.

Priority Protect is DataDome’s virtual waiting room, and the first on the market to run continuous bot and agent detection throughout the entire queue session, not just at the door.

DataDome's Priority Protect product

You can set it to always-on for high-priority pages like checkout, or schedule it for planned events, apply your own branding, colors, and domain, and configure exactly which types of visitors are admitted.

The result is a fair, fast, on-brand experience for real customers and zero chance of bots activating the moment inventory drops. Learn more about Priority Protect here.

Platform updates

New dashboard homepage

We launched a new DataDome homepage that brings your entire cyberfraud protection platform into a single, real-time view.

Instead of toggling between products to piece together the full picture, you now get top-level visibility into human, bot, and AI agent traffic in one place, alongside a traffic intent overview, your latest blocked attacks, and a dedicated bot and AI agent activity tracker. It’s available now. Log in and explore it.

ROI dashboard

Understanding the financial impact of your security spend just got easier. DataDome’s ROI calculator, built directly into your dashboard, lets you plug in your own cost assumptions, including infrastructure downtime, manual investigation hours, fraud losses from content theft, payment fraud, and credential stuffing, and see your savings calculated against your actual traffic data, not inflated vendor estimates. One customer ran their own numbers and found $278k in monthly savings.

To use it, go to Management > Return on Investment in your dashboard.

Expanded AI agent classification

Q2 saw a significant expansion of DataDome’s AI agent classification coverage. We added and activated several new agent models, including OAI-AdsBot (OpenAI’s crawler for validating ChatGPT ad submissions), Claude-SearchBot (Anthropic’s content indexing crawler), ChatGPT Atlas, and Claude-User.

Each agent is added to your dashboard in deactivated mode first, giving you time to review matched traffic and set your preferred response policy before automatic activation. You stay in full control of which agents access your properties and how.

Detection model renaming

To close out the quarter, we are rolling out a new naming convention for Bot Protect’s threat detection models. Nothing changes in how these models protect you—detection behavior, coverage, and performance remain identical.

The update introduces a cleaner, more structured taxonomy where each model name combines a unique identifier (named after a luminary in science, mathematics, or philosophy) and a clear description of what the model detects. If you reference model names in reports or integrations, please update those references after June 30th.

More to come in Q3

Q2 laid the groundwork for a more transparent, trustworthy, and agentic web, and we’re not slowing down. Stay tuned for what’s coming in Q3.
