We are happy to announce that we just released a new version of our Apache module!

We have also added another European datacenter, in our continued effort to optimize latency between your web servers and our own API servers.

Updated Apache module

With the latest update to our Apache module, we have added a new log feature. DATA_DOME_STATUS (status code return from API Server or specific code) and DATA_DOME_SPENT_TIME (time in ms spent by the module) environment variables can now be added to CustomLog.

You can find more information in the Apache changelog.

New datacenter region

New Apache module and European data center

Our technology is deployed in several regions, in order to provide the best possible latency between your servers and our API Servers.

Earlier this month, we added a new Online datacenter in France to our existing three deployments in Ireland, Germany and the USA (Virginia). We’re delighted to observe that certain users have been able to reduce latency from 20ms to 7ms!

To check performance between your servers and the new region and find out if it can improve your latency as well, you can use our latency script. All endpoints are available in the API Server documentation.
