DataDome receives the highest score in the Current Offering category of all evaluated vendors, as well as the highest scores possible in 12 criteria

NEW YORK, June 15, 2026 DataDome today announced it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Bot and Agent Trust Management Software, Q2 2026. DataDome received the highest score in the Current Offering category as well as the highest scores possible in 12 criteria, including AI agent trust management, web and LLM scraping management, intent visibility, innovation, partner ecosystem, adoption, security operations integrations, and more. Forrester evaluated 8 vendors in the bot and agent trust management space, grouping criteria by current offering and strategy to help organizations select the right provider for their needs.

Since the previous Wave, the category has expanded significantly from bot management to managing trust across bots, AI agents, LLM crawlers, and automated digital interactions.

In its evaluation, Forrester writes, “DataDome excels in AI agent trust management, transaction assurance and protection, and marketing analytics assurance use cases.” On strategy, the report similarly notes, “DataDome excels in innovation, with heavy R&D investment and a structured design partner program.”

“AI agents are reshaping the makeup of internet traffic, and the speed of that shift will separate platforms built for it from those built on shortcuts. That performance gap will only widen,” said Benjamin Fabre, co-founder & CEO of DataDome. “DataDome was built on the right foundation for this moment, and we’ve been innovating on it every step of the way. Being recognized as a Leader confirms this for us.”

DataDome believes its 5/5 innovation score is the result of that discipline in practice and reflects a decade-long investment in detection, classification, and governance that has consistently advanced ahead of threats. When AI agents and LLM crawlers began reshaping internet traffic at scale, DataDome wasn’t adapting to a new category. It was already leading in one that hadn’t yet been named.

At the core of DataDome’s approach is intent. DataDome goes beyond identifying whether a request comes from a human, bot, AI agent, or LLM crawler. It determines what that traffic is trying to accomplish across sessions, transactions, and API calls, in under 2 milliseconds. That distinction has become increasingly important as automated traffic becomes more sophisticated and ambiguous. By separating beneficial automation from harmful activity in real time, DataDome helps customers protect revenue, reduce fraud, preserve performance, and maintain control over their digital channels.

Customers are seeing the impact of that approach in measurable business outcomes. The Forrester report states, “DataDome’s customers shared how the product helped them cut fraud losses; they love the reporting and dashboards and gave high marks for customer service.” The report also notes that DataDome “has the strongest adoption support program in this evaluation, providing measurable adoption and engagement outcomes within specific periods.”

As the Forrester report puts it, “DataDome is a good option for customers looking to address a wide range of bot and agent trust management use cases collaboratively with their vendor and easily share information with business and technology leaders.”

Today’s recognition follows a series of recent announcements, including Priority Protect, an enhanced partner program, and a partnership with Botify to give businesses control over agentic commerce from discovery to transaction.
